Head of Telematics Competence Centre – Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Walter

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Walter, former Managing Director of Gauff Management GmbH, takes the lead of the newly founded Telematics Competence Centre.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Walter has left the company as of September 30 this year but he will nevertheless continue to provide advisory services to Gauff Consultants (GC). With effect from October 1^st, 2016, he takes the lead in the newly founded Telematics Competence Centre. He will supervise all activities relating to telematics-controlled truck parking, political communication and coordination of activities of all GC companies involved.

One of the key aspects of Gauff Telematics is the realisation of intelligent parking systems, above all the technical implementation of the ”Telematics-controlled truck convoy parking” (TGL).

Background:

Telematics-controlled truck convoy parking (TGL) is a Gauff Consultants product. The TGL process itself, not a mere software or algorithm, has been patented throughout Europe for 12 years now. The system was invented by Dr.-Ing. Klaus Manns, and exclusive distribution of the licence is carried out by M+C Lkw-Parksysteme GmbH & Co. KG.
